Program fidelity is the degree of fit between the developer-defined components of a program and its actual implementation in a given organizational or community setting.
A most suitable program is one that meets the needs you have identified and can be implemented with the greatest fidelity to the original program model given your target population, organizational capacity, and current community conditions.
A feasibility assessment is used to determine the best way(s) to modify a program during implementation.
Replication refers to the implementation of a program with substantive changes or adaptations.
When considering the adaptation of a program model, it is best to change the capacity of your organization before changing the program itself.

Definitely True
Only an intentional or deliberate change to a program before or during implementation is considered an adaptation of the original model.
Adapting a program ensures you a better chance of achieving the same outcomes as the original program.
While program content is an essential core element of program delivery, the structure and delivery of the program are less critical to its overall success.
Additions, deletions, and modifications of program components are all examples of program adaptations.
Tracking program fidelity and adaptation throughout implementation is critical to understanding program impact.
